What Classes Do We Offer?
We encourage and motivate people to move better, feel better, train harder and ultimately look better. We provide solutions to your problems. From losing a stone for that wedding or making the improvements necessary to reach your sporting goal, we can provide the expert help you need to get you there.
We cater for every individual and goal, whether you are an athlete trying to improve your performance, or someone trying to get healthier and improve your body composition, we can help you make those improvements. We know that people's most valuable resource is TIME and so, make training and nutrition simple, time efficient and easy to maintain. We tailor our plans to meet your goals.

Enjoy training in that team atmosphere and pushing each other further than you thought you were capable of? This is for you. We combine core, mobility and strength training, along with metabolic conditioning to build the leanest, strongest and fittest version of you.
Game Day Energiser
Saturday is game day at The lab. Coaches Gerard and Nathan take you through our most intense class of the week to set you up for the weekend and finish your training week in style. This fat loss class combines a RAMP warm up followed by a mixture of resistence training and metabolic conditioning. This is our most popular class of the week and is always performed at 100mph by all of our attendees.
AM + PM Energizer
Enjoy getting your session done first thing in the morning or after a day of sitting around in the office? Our Energizer's give you a 30 minute HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout. We use all the toys at The Lab to give you a fun and challenging workout. With a mixture of mobility, core, weights and conditioning this class will push you to your limits. We create a fun and competitive atmosphere and encourage each member to achieve more than they expect.
Our Adult Gymnastics class is for big kids aged 16+. All of our gymnastics classes are coached by the experts at Cookstown Gymnastics. This class is a fun and challenging class that tests your strength, core-stability, flexibility, balance and co-ordination. The class allows you the chance to learn and refine new skills and shapes!
Three days a week, The Performance Lab host Mid Ulster Weightlifting Club. Our British Weightlifting qualified coaches welcome all levels of lifters from the beginner to the expert. Learn how to olympic weightlift from scratch or allow us to help you hit your PB. Weightlifting has never been more popular. It is the most addictive sport on the planet. Once you have nailed your first lift, you will want to come back time and again.
Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing. Yoga is a safe and effective way to increase physical activity, especially strength, flexibility and balance. Yoga practice is beneficial for people with high blood pressure, heart disease, aches and pains – including lower back pain – depression and stress. Coached by Emma Rice.
Physio Led Pilates:
Pilates aims to strengthen the body in an even way, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and wellbeing. Regular pilates practise can help improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension. For elite athletes, including dancers, pilates can complement their training by developing whole body strength and flexibility, and help reduce the risk of injury.
Our NextGen programme is an evidence based strength and conditioning class for young people aged 12-18. Everything we do is based on the best available evidence on what kids should be doing to improve their health and performance as they head towards adulthood.
